With her Eye Prosthetic

Here's a picture of Kiera with her first of many eye shells in her right eye. This is a clear shell to help keep her facial bones growing at the same rate as the left side of her face. In late June she will be fitted with a painted prosthetic that will make her right eye look like her left eye.

For now we only have this in for a few hours a day so she can get used to it. We will slowly be increasing the amount of time she has this in each day until she can have it in all day long and we just take it out for night. Today was the third day of taking it in and out and we are getting much quicker at it already.
