Kiera has not made any progress in the last 6 days and so we wonder whether or not her esophagus has partially closed up again making it uncomfortable to swallow. She used to enjoy banana and peach purees and now doesn't even lick it off of her lips, never mind swallow. She also has had minimal burping and is not vomiting the amounts that she used to. Making Kiera hungry won't motivate her to eat if swallowing is more uncomfortable than being hungry.
Fortunately, Kiera is still a happy girl most of the time. She's very active and it won't be long until she will roll around and be sitting by herself. Kiera still sleeps fairly well at night but does wake up at around 5 am because of mucus accumulation in her throat. She just needs a pat on the back and to be wrapped up again and repositioned on her bed that is angled at 45 degrees and she is back to sleep until 7:30 am.
