On Saturday after lunch the endocrinologist in Winnipeg stopped the Octreotide treatments because they weren't helping and said first thing on Monday she will start making arrangements to have Kiera transferred to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. They are hoping the transfer will happen as quickly as Tuesday but they need to get a few things done first.
Breenda is back in Winnipeg with Kiera after enjoying the festival in town with Piper. Brenda will travel with Kiera to Philadelphia and will likely be there for at least a few weeks because they need to first diagnose her and decide on a treatment. We have not yet decided when, if, how or who will all be joining Brenda and Kiera in Philadelphia.
Hopefully we can get some answers
