Today Piper finally got to see, hold, hug and kiss Kiera for the first time since Kiera was 2 days old. That alone made for a very good day.
Today they increased the amount of milk Kiera is getting at each feed to 75 ml. At the 6:00 PM feeding she had 50 ml from the bottle, the most yet. She keeps taking more and more, every day. This morning the doctors told Brenda that on monday they will start the discharge process and so Kiera and Brenda should be coming home on Tuesday. Hopefully she can be having full feeds by then but if not she will have the feeding tube in place.
We are looking forward to Kiera coming home but for this weekend we are happy to be able to be together as a family.

What wonderful wonderful news. So happy for you all. Glad Piper could finally see her sister again. It will be so nice for you all to be home again. Thanks for the updates.
